Contact Foreign Embassy - getting in touch with foreign embassy can bring little or nothing for you. i saw a letter written to UKTI from Africa soliciting for buyers. This is a wrong approach to get buyers. UKTI are not in the business of promoting foreign business, their main job is to promote UK businesses that wants to venture in overseas market. These are the type of wrong info they are selling to anxious exporters.

BUY FOREIGN BUYERS ADDRESSES - This a trick that people should not fall for, but i believe many people must have paid to get these addresses. Do you know that i can give you 80 addresses of African food dealers in UK, out of these people may be one will like to do business with you. WHY
I will let you know the reason why. Don;t buy any addresses of buyers, they have their own channels,some of their conditions you cant meet them. There are BETTER ways to get buyers. I can copy addresses from London Yellow pages/ Thompson and be selling it but i will never do that, these are the type of addresses they are selling to innocent people
